WINTER SOLSTICE
Sunday 22 June, 10am: Celtic Service and potluck Christmas lunchWorship services
Sunday Eucharist: 10 a.m. every week
In our main Sunday morning services, music, prayer and the Eucharist connect people to God. These services combine the Anglo-Catholic tradition, with its incense and candles, and New Zealand themes in song and liturgy.
Taizé evening service: 7 p.m. on the 1st Sunday of the month (except January)
In Taizé evening services, meditative songs, prayer and silence are a means of renewing both our inner life and our human solidarity. Only a handful of churches in Christchurch offer Taizé prayer, and St. Mary's peace-filled services attract people from all over the city. For more information about Taizé, click here.
Celtic evening service: 7 p.m. on the 3rd Sunday of the month (except December)
In Celtic evening services, we celebrate the God of the everyday, in the songs and poetic prayer of the Celtic tradition. These earth-based meditative services draw on the richness of contemporary Celtic religious life, especially the Iona Community of Scotland.
Tuesday mid-day prayer: 11:30 a.m. on every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month
Drop in and take some time out for prayer and reflection. Followed by a simple lunch.![]()
